Counties Kitchens’ work has been featured in kitchen designer news articles, including coverage in Stuff reviewing episodes of Love It or List It NZ where our kitchens formed part of the featured renovations. These appearances highlight the quality, design detail and craftsmanship behind our work.
We were also proud to deliver the first Fletcher Living BuildHers kitchen in Whenuapai – a landmark initiative led by women in construction. Alongside respected architects and design professionals, Counties Kitchens continues to be showcased in national publications for bespoke, high-end kitchen design.

Habitat by Resene
As featured in Habitat by Resene this kitchen uses a gorgeous selection of colours and materials.
Mid greens really shine when you play with texture. Consider a single or dual palette of olive green with a ribbed or fluted island. This example feels architectural and contemporary, turning the kitchen into a design feature as well as a functional zone. Texture is also a clever way to add interest without needing extra colour or busy styling.
The goal in this kitchen was to select something impactful and modern yet maintain a timeless elegance and a natural palette. The designers chose greens like Resene Off The Grid and Hindsight, and found the perfect warm neutral to bridge the gap – Rice Cake.
Fletcher Building
This was the first home initiated by Fletcher Building built by a team of women which we were involved in. A great initiative which aimed to showcase talent, open doors and pave a clear path for women in construction.
